We are both musical parents and could see that our daughter was a musical spirit from a young age. Early in the journey we started to notice that our daughter was losing interest in school based piano lessons and was not enjoying it or developing a love for music as we had expected.. We started our daughter with Lauren and a few lessons later she was enjoying music again and loving her songs, and playing with passion and feeling. It was amazing how quickly she had a few beautiful songs under her belt to make her feel accomplished and talented. She didn’t look back. My two children love their piano lessons with Lauren. She creates a very caring and nurturing environment and so piano lessons are not a dreaded weekly event. Both children have different styles of learning and Lauren is easily able to adapt each lesson to a particular learning style that suits each child. She is more than capable of dealing with one child who is free spirited and wants to learn by feel and intuition and another child who is very rules based and wants to learn by a more traditional method. Both of my children come away from Lauren’s lessons feeling very happy and positive about themselves.
